Philadelphia based stained glass artist Justin Tyner switches gears and debuts his first short film WE ARE MORE THAN WE KNOW.  Based on the poem ‘the Dancer’ by Hilda Doolittle the Poet known as HD.  Tyner reveals to the viewer a hidden surreal world where creative energy is brought to life using stained glass visuals, poetry and dance along with symbols of spiritual iconography to form one androgynous system.   The players all donned in masks, undergo a psychic change as if in a trance. The paramount role of the masks is to give a sense of continuity between the present and the beginnings of time.  The masks where handmaid for this project and serve as important artistic symbols of myth and ceremony in culture.  Elegant movements through altered states of consciousness  propel the story to an ultimatum where the choice of freedom to recognize your own creative spirit is acknowledged.
